Branched Chain Amino Acids
Branch Chain Amino Acids. BCAA's
I (Pete) am a great believer in Branched Chain Amino Acids BCAA's,
I always have a bottle in my sports bag along with a bottle of Vit. B6. (Although
with this product you don't need the B-6 as it's already added). Even if I might
not have time to knock up a post workout protein meal, I'll always
chomp down a hand full of BCAA capsules post workout.
There is strong evidence to suggest a post workout serving of about 70 - 80g
simple carb's, 35 - 40g Protein and 6 - 8g BCAA(estimated figure) is a very
potent anabolic post workout recovery meal. All my own findings and results
seem to suggest it can reduce the duration of post workout muscle soreness
by about 50% when re-commencing training after a layoff.
This new addition to Reflex Nutrition's quality supplement line up has got
me back into a "before & after" workout routine. BCAA's are, in
my opinion, a hugely under rated supplement. and can be used by athletes and
recreational trainers alike to speed up recovery after intense sessions.
Pure Branch Chain Amino Acids
The BCAAs, l-leucine, l-isoleucine, and l-valine, are probably the most essential
amino acids for athletes in training. They account for 33% of muscle protein.
Some experts believe that even moderate exercise can increase your body's need
for leucine by up to 240%.
By taking Reflex Nutrition BCAAs before and after exercise
you can increase nitrogen retention, boost protein synthesis, and protect your
muscles from the stress and trauma of heavy exercise.

SUPER ANTI-CATABOLIC FORMULA
Reflex Nutrition’s BCAA PLUS is a high potency formula
containing the essential amino acids L-Leucine, L-Valine and L-Isoleucine. These
three protein sparing amino acids are known as branched
chain.
It is a well known fact that amino acids are responsible for
protein synthesis, hence the nickname “building blocks.” Studies
show BCAAs are important for muscle growth & recuperation.
Muscle production depends on an increase in protein synthesis. BCAAs
are converted to L-Alanine, an important source of muscle energy. This is done
through a process called transamination, which is the transfer of amino groups
into other amino acids. BCAAs may also be
of benefit to you during extreme dieting by lessening the catabolic (breaking
down) effect of muscle tissue. You can see why BCAAs are so
important in your quest for muscle growth and recuperation. Your body
can not manufacture its own BCAAs. They must be supplied through your
diet. Do not short change your progress, use Reflex Nutrition’s BCAA's.
